Humboldt Foundation Liaison Office In Canada

The Humboldt Association of Canada is the Canadian Humboldt alumni association. Its purpose is to foster the aims of the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation by making the Foundation's programs more visible to young researchers in Canada.

 

It is further the ambition of the Association to cultivate the Canadian network of Humboldt alumni by arranging local events from time to time.

 

In addition to that the Association’s intention is to nurture scholarly exchanges with Germany by, for example, encouraging Canadian scholars to invite Lynen fellows to do research in Canada and by periodic invitations to German scholars to visit Canada to present their work.
